Did you know that 61% of Canadians know an abused woman, that 1 in 7 women in Canada live in poverty and that each year 360,000 Canadian children are exposed to domestic violence?
Preferred Nutrition is proud to announce that we will be starting a new campaign called “Have A Heart”, in support of the Canadian Women’s Foundation. For the next 3 months (March, April and May), whenever our customers purchase a bottle of our popular hormone support products AdrenaSense, EstroSense, ThyroSense and MenoSense, Preferred Nutrition will donate $1 to the Canadian Women’s Foundation.
The Canadian Women’s Foundation (CWF) is Canada’s only national public foundation dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls. CWF raises money to fund, research and share the best approaches to:
- Ending violence against women
- Moving low-income women out of poverty
- Empowering girls with confidence, courage and critical thinking skills
Ranked as one of the ten largest women’s foundations in the world, the Canadian Women’s Foundation has supported over 1000 programs across Canada since 1991.
CWF funds innovative, grassroots programs in every province and territory, with a focus on helping women and girls who have the least access to resources and opportunities. CWF-funded initiatives go through a rigorous selection process. Applications are screened by a national panel of experts and community leaders, and only those initiatives that promise the greatest long-term impacts are selected. The president of Preferred Nutrition, Deane Parkes, has been appointed to this panel and welcomes the opportunity to support programs in communities across Canada. Check out their great website.
Preferred Nutrition is very excited to launch this fund-raising campaign! Many of our customers have come to know and trust our WomenSense line of supplements and have recommended them to their friends and family. We trust that you will be encouraged to join with us in our campaign to help women and girls across Canada, and that you will share it with the ones you love!
