What Do White Kidney Beans Have to Do with Weight Loss? 

There’s no doubt that holiday weight gain is real, but according to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the usual amount of weight people gain during the holiday period is roughly a pound, which is far enough away from the widely believed 5 or 10 pound gain. Regardless, even one extra pound of fat is yet another 3,500 calories that will probably stay with you for life, unless you just say NO to all those holiday delights now! Thankfully with the help of an incredible legume, you can have your cake and eat it too.

Most people these days who experience obesity will attest to the fact that the more carbs they consume, the fatter they become. The reason for this is due to the hormone insulin that is secreted in response to the sugars from these carbs. The more wrong carbs (you’ll find out what these are in a second) the more bloated the fat cells become and at this time of the year, you aren’t exactly eating veggies and dip at the parties now are you!?
